We're back from Alaska (North Pole/Fairbanks area), where we were thrilled to watch Samuel play his game. He's 4 years old and skilled on ice! They had practice at a North Pole arena on Saturday, then another practice w/scrimmage at the pro arena in Fairbanks on Sunday. The white hockey stick that he used on Saturday now hangs on my office wall. He switched to the new red stick on Sunday. These kids are growing so fast and trade off equipment amongst the group to keep costs in check .... although the boys refuse to use the girls pink-accented equipment!
Bodies everywhere, but Samuel is still upright!
Stand-off with ... YIKES .... a girl!
Samuel's turn to take a dive ...
Celabratory move after a goal!
Sitting in Santa's chair at the North Pole workshop. Can you believe this sweet little guy is so ruthless on ice??!
