O/T: need computer help r.e. text size on menu bar of Internet Explorer

O/T: need computer help r.e. text size on menu bar of Internet Explorer
Submitted by Clovis Boo Flyn... on April 21, 2010 - 12:39ammy computer recently installed some updates and then shut down. When I turned it back on and opened Internet Explorer, the font size of the menu choices on the menu bar, i.e., File, Edit, View, Favorites, etc., had changed to a much smaller size that is a strain on the eyes. Does anyone know how to increase the size of those items? I've tried clicking on View and changing both the Text Size and the Zoom setting, but those changes only affect the size of the text in the internet pages that I open. That's not what I want to do. Instead, I want to change the font size of the menu options near the top of Internet Explorer.

I can't find a Preferences menu option in Explorer
and I've already tried the View menu option.

That would be the Preferences for the Browser...
not the System.

Did you try going in to the Preferences?
I have a Mac, so it isn't the same as a PC, but on my computer, the font size is in Preferences under Appearance.

I can't try it because Microsoft doesn't make Internet Explorer for the Mac.

Thanks, but that only fixes the text size in the web pages
I'm tryin to change the text size of the words in the menu bar and tools bar. But the problem appears to have solved itself. When i turned my computer on this morning, everything was back to normal.

Right hand corner.
In the bottom right hand corner, there is a little + and magnifing glass symbol it says on mine 100% if you click you can make whole page larger. Or go to View in the tool bar near top of page go to - view- then text on set to Large.
