OT, here is what we saw

today going across the Sound to my grandma's house.

This is one of the aircraft carriers leaving Naval Airstation Bremerton, i don't know if they are just going out to sea on practice or if they are going on a long deployment.

My baby sister is on one of those

She is a Marine and she is on the USS Mesa Verde, currently in the Mediterranean after just leaving Haiti. She was supposed to be on it for 8 months, but going to Haiti first added to the deployment. I can NOT imagine being on a boat for MONTHS, I would die. I don't care how big it is, if it floats it's a boat.
