Justin is home from Afghanistan. His unit is deemed undeployable, we will see how long that lasts.
We are very excited he is home, he is back in NC and when the rest of his unit gets home in April he will come back home to Seattle.
Thank you all for the support and thanks to all our Military.

Great news...and my how time flies!
I remember you saying, not that long ago it seems, that he was shipping out to Afghanistan and you asked for prayers for his safe return.

I know how worrysome it is .....
Ben served in the conflict in Somlia in the mid-90s. Before e-mail and cellphones. Weeks would pass without hearing from him ... never knowing moment-to-moment if he was safe ... and having to deal with the news stories that were coming via the media.
Very difficult times for us.
I'm glad Justin's home .... hope he doesn't have to go back!

i thank him for his service!
much bully love~Christine, Dupree, Marley and Savannah
glad to hear he's home..
I saw a movie about how them make them go back even after they have served their time. I can't believe they can do that. So unfair. I hope he's home for good.
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.
