We are so excited that Spanky has a new friend! We found another bulldog owner in our area. She ahs a very sweet 7 year old bully girl. Spanky went over to her house last week for a play date. They had such a great time chasing each other and playing around her fenced yard. A dalmation mix and a cute little Maltese rounded out the play group. Although Spanky is 8 years old, he looked like a little pup playing with those dogs. We plan to do it again.

We were a little nervous about how it would go. We just Spanky in July, and to our knowledge, this was his first time to play with other dogs off-leash. His previous owner had a tall wooden fence and didn't allow him out of the yard, or other dogs in. We don't have a fence and walk him very short distances around our neighborhood on a leash. He has been very interested in other dogs in our neighborhood, but they are mostly very small have not been too fond of him. It was such fun to watch him with his "peers!"
