My son is a senior in college in a small private college, Midland Lutheran College, in Fremont NE. He's played football since about the 1st grade. Anyway, he got an awesome scholarship to this school (among many others) so he's been playing football there for a few years. This year he's a senior. This year one of his games fell on my birthday, so I decided kind of last minute to make the drive to NE for the weekend. It's about an 8 hr drive and it was pretty boring. The game was on Saturday and it was great! They won 57-7 and my son got an interception. I can't wait to see the pictures! I'm dropping them off to be developed this morning.
I had thought about taking Bailey with me because she does so good in the car and she loves Jay so much, but in the end I left her at home. We have two doggie doors that take them from the house to the garage, then the garage to the dog run. My neighbor's checked in on them all weekend. As soon as I got there one of the first things Jay said to me is "Where is Bailey?" LOL so much for "Hi Mom" Jay is a huge Champ Bailey fan (It's his first year with the denver broncos) so I told him that I bought Bailey a Champ Jersey for Sundays. Then Jay was all, Bailey got a Champ shirt and I didn't get one??? Don't you love it when they compete with dogs?? LOL
I got home last night and Bailey and Adminzona (my pug) are very happy I'm home again. Everything's back to normal. I brought them lots of brib.. oh, I mean I brought them lots of gifts! Anything to say "I'm home and I'm sorry I left you" Toys and greenies say it best!
So, that was my weekend! I'm glad I'm home!
