Here's the new tattoo I got earlier today. The artist that did my original Bulldog tattoo touched it up today and also added an armband of paw prints. Although you can't see it, the armband goes all the way around my arm. The paw print is actually from a real paw print of a dog that she had made earlier.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I have four tats. No need for a tat of all and just Pugsley would be sweet. If you want one, just go for it but remember, it's there forever. No washing it off! If you don't know the artist, make sure you look at their books first to see how good they are and what type art they have done in the past.

im still in the thinking stage about doing my low back. I keep saying im going in but dont. I know the lower back hurts. Anything on the spine will be painful. Even though i have meat on my bones, that is still the thinnest fat area on a persons body
Cant wait to see your are, I love the pawprints.

but not so much for tats. In 8 months, I'll have no say in the matter.
I will, however, ask to go with him to see first what the heck he's planning to get and where, and also to be sure it's someone I know doing the art. I'm sure he'll let me since he's never had one and he knows Mom is not afraid. Hubby is still a clean slate; he passes out at the sight of a needle.

when I was a teen I was a bit demanding..lol, I told my parents I am getting one and that's that, so my dad took me to make sure I went to a place that was clean, he wanted to make sure I didn't go somewhere scuzzy..lol, once I had my first one, the guy just did my other ones, he was clean but not on the up and up obviously, but now as an adult I go to a really good artist who my friend recommended, my friend and her husband are really into tattoos, full sleeves and all, so she has a good artist, now my husband and I go to him. Of course the ones I got as a teen are not as nice as the new ones, so I am slowly having them retouched, so far so good. The things we do as teens..lol

I had my first at about 32 (?) and my last at 43. It didn't hurt all that much. How on earth did you get tats that young? My 17-year-old son wants one, but I won't sign the consent form.

Suzanne @ Primeval Ink did both pieces of artwork: http://www.primevalink.com/ I found her through a co-worker who had several tats of animals. Suzanne had done all of her artwork.

Just One Part Really SMarted
Submitted by amylr on August 24, 2008 - 10:22am.
I thought that the underarm part would hurt the most. Nope, it was the backside of the arm. I have a Winnie the Pooh tat on my left chest and that area was more painful than the bicep area & most of the armband.
