No more Popeye's chicken. They would like it just as much if you gave them 1/2 of a boneless skinless boiled chicken breast. They may even like it better!

-- bot a Prius for the dogs so they would have a large play and sleeping area in the back when the rear seats are folded down.

-- bot a house for my first bulldog so she would no longer have to walk up and down a flight of stairs at my apartment building several times a day, and so she would have a yard to play in.

-- bot a leather sofa for Boo so that she would be cooler if another hurricane comes along and knocks out the A/C.

-- bot a $1,700 generator and two small air conditioners to keep the dogs cool should the above happen.

-- buy Popeye's fried chicken for them once a week.

-- bot a king sized bed so they would have more space to spread out at night.

-- had the carpet removed from 3 rooms and replaced by ceramic tile so they and I would have healthier air to breathe.

-- gave up more than one relationship for them.

-- used to have Domino's pizza delivered for them once a week . . . until Boo got too big.

-- on more than one occasion, have let them hump my leg while I watched TV.

-- bot a $1,400 digital SLR to take photos of them.

-- I never close the door when I go to the bathroom because it upsets them.

-- have never sold their secrets to the National Enquirer. Yet.

Last summer, I visited my brother, who does not have air conditioning.
I bought a window air conditioner and gave it to him just so I can use in the bedroom the couple days a year I may spend there.
They don't quite get the danger that heat poses to a bully

I refuse to go on vacation without him. If he can't go, I won't go.

She has her own leather couch... (Can you believe that they first tried to sell me a leather/vinyl couch because I told them it was for an English Bulldog??? -- I told them that wouldn't work because her butt ONLY sits on fine leather. It must be ALL leather or it's not good enough for my dog!!)



And of course she has a seat in the MINI Cooper (but I won't let her drive - she can ask all she wants, but I'm just selfish that way!!) It's in cartoon version:

Rescues are appreciative at first, but they quickly forget how they used to live and shove right into that little bubble gum pink microfiber bed with a clean woobie as if it was always there.

hubby had to have a Range Rover and there is no roof air. I wish I had put my foot down about that. It really is a necessity.

I bought a house and a boat for Grover, and even live somewhere in honor of him.

Gretl so far has only gotten me to buy craploads of pink stuff against my will. I'm sure that won't be the end of it.

because her daddy carried her into bed and then goes and gets a bowl of cold, filtered water from the fridge so she can drink while in bed before settling in.

We got Buddy his Brother. He seemed like he was lonely for a doggie friend, so we got him one. He is Buddy's 1/2 Brother, hence the name of Brother.

I thought Stitch was the most spoiled when I woke up to him sleeping right next to me with his little head on my pillow like a person...making little french snoring noises.
