He has me perfectly trained....before he goes outside in the morning he flops on his back for a tummy rub....and does not move until he feels sufficiently scratched! He has me vocally trained, I understand a low rumble, that means "outside please" a "woof" that means let's play, and ignoring me means "leave me the heck alone, I'm napping in my chair" (Ralph Lauren signature series distressed leaher!!!!) And...I find myself wondering about the nutrition content in scrambled eggs, how many are just right? Does he prefer aged cheddar over mild? Pot roast over steak? Do we need to switch NB flavors to make his life just a bit better? Would he enjoy a trip to Petsmart today????
Mack's Mom .
there most certainly are some spoiled bulldogs on this board..
and that's just how it should be!
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.
Jon Katz "Soul of a Dog"
Sugar had me well trained to sit on the floor in front of the
chair that she was sitting in so that she could smell my hair, kiss my face and lay her head on my shoulder, We did this every day watching Ellen D. I must say she trained me well and I never complained.
I understand
and for us its why would I walk when I can ride.
