Looking for Ideas to help hold a diaper on while in heat
Submitted by Michelle and Georgia on April 21, 2010 - 12:40amOk-- I know there are some great ideas out there. I can't find any child suspenders.. I have tried clipping them with mitten holders to a bikini top--just clipping to make the diaper tighter. We have tried toddler pull ups --we are now on ladies depends. Georgia must have the sloapiest back end ever. They are ok for a bit then she gets droopy diaper syndrom..lol The best has been a 1pc childs bathing suit but it takes so long to get on after potty break.

Yup..we got it all done at one shot. and they all turned into

what I did for that..was.........
took a scarf that I had..an old one and tied the hotpants at the top them..
it works good that way
you can use an old pair of nylons if you got them as well ..just tie them on where you have the gap

I have a pair here...
The size I need to go around her waist makes it gap at the area where I need it to fit snug. She must be a really odd size right now ...lol

I went and got some hotpants...
that is what they are called.
they are cheap enough
get 2 so you can wash them
they fit a pad inside them nicely
they velcro on
available at any pet place
they work awesome..

At least you'll only have to go through it once and the first isn't usually too bad. It really is a pain in the butt.
She went into heat 1 week before her already
booked spay appt. We are not going to show her--we just ended up with bad timing...LOL

I can't keep them on Ester
either. She rubs them off so I just keep a mop ready for cleanups. We have no carpeting.

This is a great reason as well as medical reasons to get her spayed, unless you are showing her.
Well Actually
they can get PMS. They have hormone changes just like humans. I have found that Ester is more destructive a month prior to her heat. Infact in the past 2 heats she has destroyed a leather chair that is one of MacKenzie's favorite places to sleep. I don't like the chair and want a different one in it's place so I wasn't to upset. My husband on the other hand wasn't real happy. She is now in her crate when we are gone during the day.
Often when several bitches are in heat an argument (fight) breaks out and those bitches will have to be kept seperate for the rest of their lives.
Oh come on over...she's in heat now & CRABDOGS!!
