Submitted by harleedavis on April 20, 2010 - 11:38pmSo the other day, I get home from work and my roomate was in his computer room playing youtube videos of bulldogs snoring and making other types of "noises". Out of the blue, I hear this bulldog making this "pitiful" noise, then I hear a woman talking to him and I yell "is that Ozzy?" ...lol My roomate was just floored & amazed that I knew who it was just by his "noise" After telling him how I knew, he is now convinced that I'm TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL. ..lol......I just explained that it's a bulldog thing and unless you have one, you have no idea what our obession is all about. .......

That is so funny!
My dogs have their individual wimpy cries that they do. I used to have miniature dachshunds that had deeper barks than the bulldogs. My dogs have these pathetic little cries, that make you feel sorry for them. I think they are big wimps at heart.
People would come up to my dachshunds and try to pet them. They would be shocked by their deep, resonate barks. My bulldogs sound like pathetic whiners, but it obviously works on me, because I am a slave to their every wish (accept for junk food, I don't feed them table scraps, for fear of allergies).

I was telling someone earlier that my husband and I were watching one of the youtube videos posted here, and I didn't realize the sound was off on my computer. My husband said, "Why would you have the sound off??!! We're probably missing all kinds of good bulldog noises!" That really is part of what makes them so funny and cute to watch.

If you have ever heard Ozzy's "noise"
you might reconize it. It's the most pitiful, girgling, whining sound I've ever heard, definately a one of a kind sound. There's another bully on here that also made a unique sound. It was either Harley or Chopper of Harley & Chopper, sitting on a chair @ the table make his "noise" I know one of them passed.

I could probably be blindfolded and identify, barks, whines, cries, snores, and growls between my 5. No, I don't think I could pick Ozzy out on youtube. LOL That is amazing.
