Iverhart Plus instead of Heartgard?

Has anyone used Iverhart Plus?
I'm trying to make my 1st purchase from 1800petmeds for Hurley's heartworm chews and I see that Iverhart Plus is a bit cheaper. Both of them are still much cheaper than my vet which is a huge selling point for me but I found out my vet doesn't approve of 1800petmeds and won't fax the prescription.
So I have 2 fears: 1 - should I really go through Petmeds instead of my vet and 2 - should I get Iverhart Plus instead of Heartgard Plus?

Any advice?

Thanks for the responses everyone!

I'm so nervous when it comes to Hurley's medication. I got really nervous when I heard that my vet won't approve it. I started doubting the product. He wouldn't even approve of getting Heartgard Plus from 1800petmeds either. But at this time I need to really do some comparison shopping to determine what is the best for me financially and still get Hurley what she needs.

I love you guys!!!!!! You make me feel so much better!!! happy.gif

Iverhart Plus

I've been using this at great savings. If you buy two (brown) at a time from KVVet, they're just twenty something $ each box of 6. My vet won't fax the prescription--don't know why--but gives it to me to mail.

I've used Iverhart Plus for years

My vet actually switched because he says it's just as good and cheaper for his clients.
