do you loose power? Y.E.S. if it takes a power line down with it. A tree fell a few houses away out back and took a line down. Me and the puppy were sitting in the cool basement from 2pm - 3:15. Good thing it's not raining cuz I don't know how to start the gas generator for the sump pump. This put my laundry washing way far behind

When I bot my house, I loved all the giant pine trees that are a
in my subdivision. Then came some hurricane scares. I still love the trees but not when they are within falling distance of my house or power lines and generators that supply electricity to my house.

yes and you could loose your power for awhile...
the generator..I have one too and they are a pain in the butt to get running..if you need it. there are plugs on it and run an extension cord to what you need plugged in and then just start the generator. usually just starts with a key...
I got a SUMP BUDDY here in case the power goes it. they go into the sump pump hole with the other pump that you have and they way they are installed will automatically turn on ..they use NO Power and NO oil to run...they run off the water pressure of your house.
they are totally awesome
no need to worry if you go on vacation and the power goes out either
one of my better investments.
they are not expensive
hope your power comes back on soon Sue
keep warm with the bully in the meantime..they are great for that to keep warm
Oh Bummer!
Makes you realize how dependent we are on electricity!
