I would love some prayers for Jackson this morning

You have had your share of troubles too, mine seem kind of minor, but just as hard on the pocket, not to mention the emotional stress of them not being able to tell you how bad they feel or if they hurt.

I know what you mean about expecting the worst. I spent $10,000 in vet bills last year on Raven (amputation, cancer), Betty (spleenectomy), and the mustang (castration complications and vaccine abcesses).

I try not to get depressed about the debt and just be thankful that I have enough on my Line of Credit to take care of my "kids".
What a relief that Jackson's is minor!

Well, Jacksona nd I just home from vet/ work
Vet aspirated the lump and got some what she called puss, but you could actually see grainy stuff. She said that hwe though it was a hair follicle that had become infected. She said to watch it but she didn't think it was anything to worry about. I am so glad, as my luck usually doesn't go that way. So far we have
1. ACL repair to be done (Maddox)
2. one palate surgery (Lola)
3. maybe anal gland removal, (spike)
nothing else right now but we are looking at a vet bill of about$2000.00 for all of the above!
