HOW many bulldogs end up in rescue in a year ?? just an average

my guess is some is higher then other but what
type of average are we looking at.
include ones that are in foster too

I was thinking more in the US only ..
I bet there are way to many that end up in rescue
and you are right...it boils down to knowing what bulldog ownership is about

and alot dont even get their forever homes, it is a sad situation for sure,

Bulldog rescue is so widespread that it would be next to impossible to estimate. As bulldog owners we need to educate everyone about the breed and if anyone tells you they love bulldogs and want to get a bulldog, it is our obligation to let them know what is involved; especially the costs. It is not just the initial few thousand dollars for the puppy but possible future health issues, training involved and companionship that comes with being a responsible bulldog owner.
lately it's been about 10 a week..
we can't keep up.
Today-- I picked up 2 at 7AM from a foreclosure/divorce situation. I transported one of them two hours to a foster home and I'm fostering the other one. We got a call from a shelter about a female left in their parking lot. AND I've got another owner surrender possibly coming in tomorrow. I get at least one or two emails daily from owners wanting to surrender.
