Hi there! How is everyone doing? I see lots of old familiar faces and lots of new ones. How exciting.
For a quick refresher, I'm Andre'a and I was Momma to Amos and Cora. The last time I was around my little dude Caleb was just a tot and my hubby had just left to go to Egypt for 15 long months. We had just rehomed Amos and I was terribly torn up about it. Y'all held my hand like pros.
Things have really changed since then. I went through a long bout of post partrum depression and ended up giving Cora to a really good friend of mine. I believe that is part of the problem that I had with Amos too. It makes me very sad that I don't have my furbabies with us anymore but they are both in fantastic homes with people who love them very very much.
Chris is home now (for the most part), the PPD is G.O.N.E!, the girls are now 9 & 5, and Caleb is 2. We have moved to Savannah, GA where the Army has deemed our new home and we love it here. I can see us retiring in this great little city. We're building a house and it should be done by the end of April. Chris and I keep talking about how much we miss our babies and how it's going to be weird to have a home and not have a bully in it. He misses Amos so very much and has actually shed tears over coming home and not having his boy greet him at the door. So, we are looking into adopting a bully boy!! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am. We are going through the application process now and hope to have it completed soon so that we can bring a 4-legger into the fold just as soon as the house is done. We've fallen completely and totally head over heals with a certain bully boy at a particular rescue group and really hope that we are approved for him. (If it's okay for me to mention what rescue and bully I will in a reply but I'm not sure of the rules on that and don't want to get into trouble my first day back!) He's incredible though and we're keeping our fingers and toes crossed that it all works out.
That's about it in a nutshell. I sure have missed y'all and hope to be able to get back into the swing of things here.

Well, hi there!
Funny, I was just thinking about you the other day. Cora (for corazon) is one of my favorite names that I encountered on this board. My sis got a new lab puppy last week and was looking for some name ideas. And I ran into Cora on my "favorite names for future reference" list. That got me thinking about how you were doing (I remember you had just rehomed Amos).
Glad life is back on the rosey side - and I hope things work out for you with the adoption!
