Thanks for the Sarge compliments, he was a really lovely, sweet and wonderful boy. We miss him terribly.

the shephard is a very regal animal..
my girlfriend had one for years...georgous creature..
i used to be able to sit and watch him just walk..he was totally beautiful to watch..
11 years is a good age for a shephard though...not saying it easy to loose them but a good life span..

Sarge was my Shepard boy: I had him for over 11 years....he was a Humane Society rescue. I worked at the shelter and he came in with a little of pups. He had kennel cough and couldn't get over it...my boss was going to put him down when he was about 12 weeks old, but I asked her to let me have him...he was fine a week later:-) He was my sweetest boy ever...my best boy. He was a gentle, loving soul who was also a true Alpha dog in my home for all his years.

This was the last picture I took of him, 2 days before he succumbed to cancer.

first thought she was a black and white bulldog
but she looks like she might just be a very dark brindle
very pretty

was Sarge a shephard..
I was not around when he went to the bridge...
I can tell he is very missed..

She has suddenly become a terrible two! Ha ha! Paybacks are delightful for this Granny! My daughter ain't so excited about it though! Audrey gets her implants turned on March 9th. We can't wait:-)

My beautiful Sophia. Here she is next to her big brother, Sarge, who passed away last year on May 27th of cancer. I didn't crop the pic...I want as many of Sarge as I can have...even if it is only half of him!
