ok so Mason has allergies and bad. No Chicken, Lamb, wheat or corn. so he eats NB Duck and Potatoe. He has eatten this since the summer and does great. Allergies are under control however as I posted once a few days ago, I think this last bag had might be a different formula or they changed it somehow because now he is yeasty and never had that problem before. It started with ear junk and now they are really dirty and a medium pink colour. He doesn't scratch at them or anything though. His nose rope is fine but getting a little pasty. This weekend his feet are awful yeasty and I can see little cyst happening. I have to get a new bag of food tomorrow as he is out of food, I have been torn on weither I should buy the same kind or maybe switch to venison formula. The duck and potatoe I have to add stuff to his food to get him to eat it most times and even then sometimes he turns his nose up at it.
Please what do you think I should do or try? I have treated the ears, feet and rope but what should I buy tomorrow?
maybe it's the carbohydrates
have you tried finding a meat only food, it may be the carbs he is reacting to. Dogs don't need a whole lot and veggie/plant sources of carbs can be difficult for a dog to digest.

My thoughts....
We had the same issue with NB, both of ours started getting really nasty ears, tons of wax, itching, red, etc. Our vet said ears are one of the first signs of allergies. They had been on NB since we got them and then just all of a sudden they started reacting to it. So my guess is that they must have changed something somewhere along the way. We switched them to Orijen, Deuce on the Regional Red and Oliver on the large breed puppy. We just took Oliver off the puppy and started giving him some of the Regional Red but I think it was just a little too rich for him. I was going to try Acana but it is really hard to find. The protein on the Acana was a little less than Orijen but made by the same company. We are going to try Wellness Core Ocean Formula for Oliver as it has 34% protein. I think it is just a plug and chug kind of thing, try a different food but buy the small bag and see how he does. Good luck, this food stuff can be really frustrating!!!!
having same issues
have now put them on Nutro, fish formula. They are doing great on this food
