Also, how can you avoid it? Just noticed several people that have had their bullies get this and I want to be on top of it. Thanks Prayers for Arlo..........

she had a small cough. then in no time got very legarthic and what stuck me the oddest..was she totally lost her voice. she is my problem child and when she slowed right down, rushed her to the vet. she had pneumonia and plus larangitis sp?? and that is why she lost her voice. she was a very sick little girl for a few weeks. they put her on a good antibiotic, gave her some oxegen and also had me use a cool mist vapourizer every day. she ended up alergic to the antiobtitic too and that had to be changed..she was very sick to her stomach and was put on a food for a sensitive stomach..gastro food a number of feedings a day until she was better. scary stuff
the biggest thing is it can come on SOOOOOOOOOOOOO fast. one minute they are fine, the next they are deathly ill.
I hope that I never go through this again...scared the crap out of me.
her voice came back. she was soo vocal but hard as she tried nothing came out..so to here a very vocal dog was for ONE time a great sign.
Re: Helen! How is Arlo doing today???
