Have I bored you with Gus stories yet..lol...gotta hear what happened yesterday

Gus and Bella came along too ...just for the weigh in.
I had 2 pugs on the examining room with me and Gus was in there too. the other 2 dogs were out with Bryan in the waiting room.
ALL was fine..the one pug was taken out by the assistant for his ear swabs..to be done. but the other little pug snuck out on her own..lol. WELL did Gus scream when he seen that..the big bulldog cry. a deaf dog can cry really really loud. the vet kept says HEY GET back that poor darn pug..this bully is going nuts..lol. YOU could not control Gus and the bulldog cry.
Zeena just ran out to the waiting room through the back door of the examing room. she really does not like the vet.
the vet figures that Gus other senses kick in. he seen the pug leave and nobody was with her..just letting everyone know that was she ESCAPED..
Gus cry was soo loud that the other vet in the office came in to see if the other vet needed a hand with Gus...
well Zeena came back in the room and Gus was completely quiet
the vet said this will go into the deaf dog study. she feels Gus is very very observant and smart..considering he did not make a fuss about the other pug taken out by the assistant for his ears to be checked...just Zeena when she got out on her own.
never under estimate a deaf dog..the VET said she has been a vet for alot of years and never seen this happen before.
the vet really did just shake her head...
she was soo surprised.
but at the farm the other day for the deaf dog study with the vet for the day. he screamed the bulldog cry when her child slipped and fell..
this was the same vet that seem him yesterday..
she is totally amazed with Gus really..
she would take him home and KEEP him in a second..
she loves him too
FORGOT to add that Gus lost 4 and half pounds since end of..DEC.
the vet was impressed with his weight loss. although he was never a really big bully anyhow. he is just over 53 pounds now. he has been very active lately and full of life..so was not surprised he lost the weight..although thought it was fast. he had no diet change either...
Gus eats NO commerical treats. he is a real meat man..lol. he had no ..tartar on his teeth at all either. the vet said he is in great shape..

the vet does too
always making comments on how smart he is really
what he does not hear he for sure sees
he will bark if he sees a car lights in the driveway at night time. he might not hear the car..but the lights get him going everytime.
he is very smart
I think all deaf dogs deserve a chance at a home..
I would have no second thoughts on adopting another deaf dog

It is only his ears that don't work, his brain works just fine. Just because he is deaf doesn't mean he is stupid.
the vet was shocked..that he knew ..the difference..
between the pug that left with the assistant to check his ears..he was fine with that..but NOT with the one that just escaped.

that is just so cool he knew the pug shouldn't have left
