I am known to just take off for a vacation..lol
do not do that as much now that I have dogs..but still nice to get away on occasion.

I went east to west in canada way back when. I fly to Nova Scotia, then I spent another week in Montreal and then went on to the west coast for another week. Canada is huge. soo much to see here. I love Northern Ontario..very very pretty
we used to vacation in Temagami every year. have not since I have been single the past few years..will get back there someday too.

In all my trips..never seen an eagle out flying anywhere. seen a few of them stuffed in museums on the weat coast of Canada and the zoo but none in the wild and would have thought I would have for sure..

Our home was beachfront, so that would have been scary to hear those sirens in the middle of the night. Especially since we had baby Junior!

5 yrs longest at ft bragg nc here near where we live now...hubby was 82ABN airborne... you need to take a trip south to NC...we have plenty of room... we want to take a cruise to Alaska next year...then maybe one day take a train in Canada...my parents did that, there was a small town called Drumheller Canada..that was my maiden name and they went to visit the town...lol

Hawaii looks so pretty.
my MOM went there on vacation and ended up with the Hawaiian flu so she did not care for that much and said that she would not go back
but I would love to go and see it
really does look lovely with the hotels and beaches
lots of coverage on the area today on the news..looks very pretty

that is the one thing that my son loves about the tug company is he gets to see lots of places..although most of them are in the US and Canada..

I did tons of travelling in my single days. then puttered to staying more in Canada..during my marriage years. now that I am on my own..want to take a trip one of these days to maybe a bald and golden eagle festival....although they would be in Canada too but on the west coast. gotta save some money first..lol. but plan on doing it sometime.

glad you got to see the world some. the biggest issue I guess is that you never stayed in one place that long right??

when my son was 5yrs and our daughter was 7~~!! yrs ago but it was nice but after two years I needed a break from Island living, my aunt sent us money for a vacation to go back to NY... we lived all around the world, Germany twice, hawaii, texas, NC NJ and jim was in korea for a year...

CNN has great coverage...and coming from Canada....I guess the Canadian News is what I can get..on this. do not see much on any other stations here
really has not hit that much yet...
