I have received tons of email that I have not had the time to answer. My mother's heart attack comes before this board. No, I am not hiding. No, I have nothing to hide.

To begin,
Jane has called and talked with my husband. She was told I was with my mother, which I was. I will not be interested in speaking on the phone to Jane and would not have taken the call. As unfortunate as it is, I no longer trust that my words will be repeated as spoken. Therefore, all correspondence will be in writing. That way, there is no doubt.

Now, I will address Ce's post, (yes Ce, I know you are doing the old copy and paste bit) I hope the webbie checks that IP to find your accomplice. I feel this post is a feeble attempt to try to turn people away from the issues. I will respond regardless as there have been too many lies told already for me to let this pass.

The facts:

1. Wheezy went to Jane's by way of Dr. Clark. I met Ann at a restaurant in Sterling, Il. Jane adopted her to Southern Indiana, Jane would not give me any info for follow up but said they didn't like her and wanted rid of her. She told them to bring her back. Do you think they would drive a dog that far they don't like? Neither do I.
Jane did no follow up.I didn't find this out until I went to Janes home later.

2. Linda P. took Bruno to Jane's. I had not even met Jane. Jane asked for him. She said she had a great skin Doctor. Jane promised Linda she would send him back if the Doctor couldn't help him. Linda then would take him to a University. After many phone calls from Linda, worrying about Bruno, Jane said she adopted him 10 days after he got there. It is illegal to sell a sick dog. He was very sick. Linda could not get any info from Jane. Jane sluffed off the requests as she did mine. I asked Ce about him and she told me he was in a great home, healthy and happy! Adopted is what they both stated. Now, they are saying he was in a foster home they both thought they could trust. Didn't anyone check?
He was taken to Jane last JUNE! His eyes were fine. Now they needed removed. I cry for his pain.I despise his abusers.

3.Leroy went to Jane's only because he had extremely good health and Jane and Ce both promised me Jane had an approved home waiting. His owners were planning to hold onto him until a transfer was made. Ce insisted Jane had to have him there, first. Ce said Jane had no other fosters and could use the adoption fee. I was hoping that his fast adoption would help other dogs.According to ce, Jane gets substantial amounts for her rescues. A few days later Jane posts she was flooded with dogs. Leroy was not adopted out right away as promised. In fact, I could not even get any info on him. It was like he disappeared.I would not have sent him there if I had not been promised a home was immediately available.I asked Jane and Ce about him. Evasive answers. I even asked the people that took pics at Janes and they could not answer me.He was there for months. WHY? Did one of the other dogs chew him up? That is not uncommon from Jane's own posts. Why is Jane hiding Leroy? What happened to Leroy at Janes? I want to know the truth.

4. I first met Jane when Linda P. had to go to Chicago to pick up her crate. After Bruno had been taken there. I did not like the situation at all. Jane's dog had been attacked. Jane's husband had been bitten, one dog had a severe ear infection, another heartworm, another a bad patella. I don't know the story on the Boxer pup, Olde pup or Shiba.They run out when a young guy was getting the crate out of the basement. I tried to talk to Jane about getting these dogs into homes for the price of the medical care they needed. You simply drop the fees and let them pay the Vet direct, you take the dog in and they do the follow up care. Jane wasn't interested. I tried to take pictures of the dogs but Jane refused. She said she had pictures. There were no water bowls anywhere that I could see. The dogs all looked depressed. I will go no further except to say, this is no "haven" by any stretch of the imagination.

5. Chip, a dog with immense aggression problems that included human attacks was sold to a man in Adminzona that had a 10 year old son. Ce said she told Jane she should not do that. I was appalled when Ce told me. I cannot imagine that dog traveling on a plane and then being handled by strangers. Jane had even been bitten by him. Later, Jane said she had him put down. Did she?

In closing, I do not think Jane should be running a rescue. Chip is a classic example. Another is the dog dragging it's rear she will be getting a cart for.That dog cannot even protect itself from the rest. Tying 9 dogs outside with cables at one time is so irresponsible. Bruno is in the picture. He could not even see. If one dog gets the cable around his leg and panics, he could lose a leg. Putting a helpless pup in the mix is beyond ridiculous.New dogs coming in are thrown into the pack with no regard to their safety.
The cost of food for 10 dogs runs less than $2000.00 per year. Please keep in mind that 6 or more of those dogs belong to Jane and she should be paying for their care. That would leave the cost of feeding 4 rescues.
Regardless, I could care less about the money, where it comes from or where it went. I care about the dogs.

I apologize to those people that have been offended by this topic. Please understand the horror I felt when I learned about Bruno's demise. Especially due to the fact that Linda was ready and willing to pick him up and Jane was fully aware of that fact.There is no excuse.
It is my intent to insure no other dog suffers.
