Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers yesterday for my Eleanor. She came through her ACL surgery just fine. Her ACL ligament was completely torn and she also had a tear in her meniscus which they took care of too. She had no problems with the anesthetic which is alway my biggest worry especially when going though it for the first time. I brought her home late yesterday and she had a good evening and slept right through the night with no problems. This morning she went outside (I'll be happy when all the snow/ice are gone and the yard dries up a bit) and did her business, ate breakfast and was back to our same sweet Eleanor. Tonight she starts her physical therapy

Thank-You All
for your thoughts & prayers. They do indeed work !
Eleanor had her first little PT session when I go home from work. RMO 1 is the exercise in which I laid Eleanor on her good side and slowly pull the foot and push the leg down and pack into a full extension of all joints. You need to do this 5 times once a day for the first week followed by 10-15 mins of ice pack on her incision. Eleanor did fantastic ! It helps when she's enjoying some tramadal at the same time ! Will keep you updated !

and good you did it especially if it was fully torn. Good luck with her recovery. =)
