hugs and prayers to all that are hurting...its a beautiful spring day here...Griffin worked at the nursing home today...they love the bunny ears on him...lol he says anything for treats...lol have a great day

She hates her ears sometimes and refuses to let her momma put them on, but then she is also getting ready to turn 2. Could be terrible twos just starting and not really an ear issue:-)

Other than that, she can hear sounds but still doesn't really recognize what they are. She knows her name a little, at least she responds to the sound when we say her name. It will take time, but she will get there:-) Thanks for asking!!

The trouble with the...

Issues of aging is that they just never improve. It's all just a slow downward spiral. I'm sorry things are not better for your Auntie & your Dad. On the other hand, Jim should come out OK.
My hubby is doing well now. He's going to Physical Therapy & has even played golf twice. So almost back to "normal". LOL My poor sil (dh's sister) is really going downhill with her Alzheimer's. I just feel awful for her & we're not very impressed with the nursing home either. We'd like to try to take her to church on Easter but her husband says NO. Soooo we're limited on what we can do for her.

Stella is pretty good! I'm going to join my family at my dad's this weekend for Easter and I decided to leave her home with her puppy sitter since my sis has just bought a 9-week old lab puppy. I think I would just be too much for my old girl to contend with - plus the pup is barking at night to go pee, and I think that will upset her too.

Of course, much as she loves her sitter, it's not the same as having mummy around. So, I'm sure I'll be getting the cold shoulder on Monday...

auntie continues to eat only a little bit and still wants to die she says she is tired...its so sad.... my dad is just not himself at times which is hard to see...he is using his CPAC at night hopefully that would slow the progress down some... thanks for asking..Jim has another appt with the doc and another PSA test next friday, hopefully after taking all the medication that will help him.... how is your husband feeling
