Not a Bulldog but kinda cute. This is Peanut my granddaughter's bunny which we are bunny-sitting while the family is on vacation. Bunnies don't seem to do much of anything, just twitch their noses.

My bunny was a huge New Zealand Black male. I had him for about 10 years and had to put him down when his diabetes got really bad. He was a 'rescue' bunny, saved from being eaten by stray dogs. Another case of idiots buying Easter bunnies for the kids and turning them loose when the kids got bored of them. At the time I was dog-less except for having visitation of a dog on the weekends and VW made a good pet once I got him tamed. Then I got a 5 month old Cocker Spaniel pup and the fun began. The rabbit and the Cocker were best friends and playmates.
It was a dutch rabbit and we had him put down at 13 years old. I too was mistaken thinking they only lived 5-7 years...our others lived to between 7 and 8.
They do make wonderful (but stinky) pets! Maverick never had the chance to meet him, but he got along wonderfully with my Rottie. The ol' bunny was pretty much completely blind by the time he met the Rottie, but the Rottie would just follow him around and let him snuggle up.

My daughter had a house bunny that lived for 8 years in her bedroom! He was so cute! He would terrorize the poor cat, and ruled the dogs too. I love bunnies....
Re: Dolly sniffed the cage...
Unless Dolly develops a taste for hassenfeffer...you should be fine.

When I was a kid my Grandpa had a HOUSETRAINED bunny!
I was a Dutch Bunny, half black half white. He ate potato chips out of a bowl on the coffee table. His name was Rabbit (original huh?)
13 years for mine

I LOVE bunnies!
Unfortunately, hubby hates them...
Do you let him out to roam around? What does Dolly think of that?
Apparently, we were told 5-8 is their lifespan..
but I had to put my guy down 1 month after his 12th birthday. Hopefully Peanut will be around for just as long .
Very cute!
And you are right about bunnies, had one growing up and mostly they twitch and make little brown pellets. LOL

Dolly doesn't seem to care at all...
I'll have to try to get some pics of them together someway but Peanut's safety is Job #1! LOL
Pretty Please...
Peanut is very tame...
My granddaughter has her out a lot at home & says she's potty trained.
Pretty Please...
She is so very soft...
I reach in & pet her. Peanut is allowed to hop around on tiled floors at her own house & I guess she's supposed to be potty trained.
Pretty Please...
Awww...
what a sweet little bunny! Is Dolly interested in him at all?
