Doggie travel requirements

Is it possible to travel to Canada with my dogs, and get back in the US? Do they need different shots? If quarantined that's too much .

Re: Doggie travel requirements

I've only ever been asked for proof of Rabies vaccination... as long as you have the tags or certificate you should be fine.. (I've only ever gone through car/truck border with dogs; not sure about flying).

We travel to Canada alot

and you need to take your rabies certificate as well as the tags. There is no quarantine. Like the others we have only been asked if we rhave their required paperwork. Only once did we have to show the papers and we were on our boat and it was right after 9/11 so they were checking everything.

I've never had any problems

I was told to bring her vaccination records with me, but I've never actually been asked to see them.

I always bring them anyway, but you should have no problems at all.
