thank you everybody. my boy use the pads but he goes through those suckers lol. I do however like the idea I may do my own make shift one by going to home depot tomorrow will let ya'll know how it turns out.
but our dogs prefer just the regular puppy pads... they sniff the fake grass and just walk away from it. We tried it for the upstairs deck but they are not fans
We had one for Tessie when she was a puppy. It was similar to the other posters, we used a plastic tray and synthetic sod out on the porch, it worked well. It was a challenge though when we wanted to get rid of it because she wasn't ready to get rid of it.

And bought a big plastic tray that is used to put under your washer machine, it cost $20 I put that on the deck, at first I used sod, but that became to messy, now I just use puppy pads and change the pads when she's done, I sure wish I could get Chuckie to use it too. It is very helpful especially on those rare occasions when she needs to potty in the middle of the night.
I am moving into a new apartment on the third floor, and Stig is still trying to get the hang of this pottying outside thing. I really doubt he(or I carrying him)would be able to make it down three flights of stairs (especially in the middle of the night) every 30 min to an hour in time for him to actually make it to the designated potty place. I was thinking about putting some type of "faux" potty on our porch or something. We've tried the potty pads, but he tears them to shreds the minute we put them down.
Thanx

I've never used the faux grass but here's what I use for my Lola

I was wondering the same thing.

Re: Potty
Are you thinking for indoor or outdoor?
I live in a high rise and had an indoor unit when Doyle was younger. It was a pain to clean, so I didn't keep it long.
I don't have one but
I think it's a great idea if you have to leave your dog every day.

when she first came home
The yard. LOL
I wanted to make a raised area for him to save the grass but haven't yet. I say go for it!
