ok this is funny.
my son went for a car ride today and had to Coax Gus to go along. IF I go..the bullies are more then happy to go...but not even I stay home. they put on their breaks and just do not want to leave.
they are great for me in the tub. but crappy for my sons when they bath them.
the same with the nail trimming. I have no issues.. the boys can not even get close to the dogs to get them done..lol
the feeding the same thing. as long as I feed them all is fine. IF my sons feed them..they just kinda putter in the dish until they KNOW that I am there and then all is fine.
really hope nothing serious happens to me..lol.
they are very attached.
wander if this is from raising them as puppies and being the person that is home with them the most..??
do your bullies listen to anyone else in the family??? here the same thing too...I raised them and trained them and I have no problem getting them to do something unless it is a stubborn moment of the bulldog but my sons have real big issues in getting the bulldogs to listen to them.
Re: Does YOUR BULLY favour YOU??
she will favor me but if i am not around she is a daddy's girl and she just loves her brother will i think because he gives her treats when she has no business with them she is just all around love and follows every body
sounds like she must be feeling better Deb...
kinda cool that sugar followed your MOM all over the place though.
odd my dogs do not even like anyone else feeding them. I think it is because I am with them all the time..every minute of the day possibly.
scares me if anything would happen to me..
what is the story about Belle???
sounds like she has some attitude going on there
has she always been that way...
just curious what the story is about her..
Roxy only has eyes for me..
she ignores everyone else. Acts like they are invisible. Junior loves his daddy, but he was mine until Roxy came into the picture and decided she didn't want to share me.
Bentley loves his mama (my daughter)but he likes to sit on anyone who will allow his big butt on their lap. Teddy only loves my daughter and wants nothing to do with anyone else. Belle doesn't really like any of us. She will approach us for chin scratches, but if you pet her in the wrong spot, she gets mad and jerks her head away. She's a brat.
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

oh yeah they are mommy's babies
get excited to see daddy, but I am the one who is with them all the time, I feed, care, bathe, them,
Yes. LOL!
Gretl's a mommy's girl, but I don't have to share her with anyone.
Grover was a daddy's boy. Very much so. Then daddy left out of the blue, which was very hard on him. It took him quite a few weeks to really get used to him being gone and me being his sole caregiver. I made a very large effort to make sure they never saw each other again because I knew it would be so very hard on him and we'd start all over again. He very quickly became a momma's boy. Which I treasure immensely.
But I must admit, I do selfishly love how Gretl is totally smitten with me and only me.

George is DEFINITELY mommy's boy
He is my shadow. If I go to bed early, he follows. If I shower, he waits outside the door. If I lay on the couch and nap..guess who is curled up next to me? You guessed it. George. He loves his dad too, but there is something about moms and their boys.
Craig laughs because when we are cuddling and I talk to him and say, "come on George, I know you want to talk to me. Tell Mom you love her" LOL
sounds like my bullies too..
never far away..
they totally hang close to me all the time..
Gus is even more so then Bella though...not even the bathroom is scared..lol
Toby is a huge mama's boy
He's my big baby. He won't go to bed without me. He waits in the doorway to the bedroom until I go in, even if hubby has already gone to bed. If I am not home, he will usually sleep in his crate or by the back door until I come home. But he will eat for anyone! He is not picky about who feeds him, that is for sure.
Janice
well Griffin is a momma's boy for sure
its all about me, but he will eat etc but he slows down some without me...my parents usually babysit for us and she said he mopes around....Gracie is a daddy's girl for sure but is fine as long as she is in her own home with familiar things...Sugar doesn't care as long as she gets her food and snack she is happy...my mom was so surprised while watching them this time, Sugar followed her all over the place, she never followed her around before...I believe that with the acupuncture it makes her feel much better... now if the gang has to be boarded they don't function well and don't eat much then...

Georgia favours me...I am home all the time
She seems to always be in the room I am.
Maybe it's in the name...
We have a Farley too but a Vizsla. Total mommas boy too...LOL
Farly favors me out of everyone in the house.
He is a total mama's boy.
Sorry, it's Dolly & me!
Pretty Please...
I think so...
Just like you, I've been with Dolly the most & have trained her & fed her & do everything for her. She's fine with my husband but sticks with me. Where ever I go in the house, she goes.
Pretty Please...
She's daddy's girl.
She loves me, but Maybull is a daddy's girl.
Woof!
