I posted this on the other board also but was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem with a young puppy. These are pictures of Moose's front paws. I just noticed them today. He is 4 months old and spent most of the winter inside on carpet so I don't understand how they cracked so bad. It really isn't that dry here and I have never seen this before on our other dogs. They don't seem to bother him and he walks and runs normal. Any suggestions????

maybe some bag balm might help?
Ah, the mysteries of the bulldog!
I gave up trying to figure out Stella years ago! Things just seem to happen to her that aren't "normal"
I'd just moisturize and not worry about it unless he starts looking like it's bothering him.
P.S. I love Moose and Tillie !
Ow!
I use bagbalm on Onslows pawpads and nose. They get drier with age it seems. Glad it doesn't seem to be bothering him but these bullies never act like they are hurt. Good luck!

put some Bag Balm on it..
doesn't look that out of the norm to me. Soften it up with Bag Balm or A&D Ointment or vitamin E oil from capsule.
