Archie got cherry eye surgery a month ago and he still has exposed tissue on his eye. How long does this take to heal or is he always gonna have a "lazy eye?"
it's been two months since otis had his surgery and you can barely tell now. every so often, when he gets worked up, it'll get really red and a little puffy, but then goes away when he relaxes. i wouldn't worry too much. just may take some time. ~melody
Looks just like Otis' did weeks after his surgery....

It may take a while because he looks like he has kinda droopy ey
too, before his didn't look so droopy. I think they tend to tighten up as they age.
that sounds a bit long.
but maybe dogs heal differently. are you putting drops or anything in it. my doc gave me drops and pills for infetion prevention.
HI ARCHIE!! been thinking about you...Vince, how's
his recovery? he had us all pretty worried!
Re: Cherry Eye Recovery (pics)
Our girl had her cherry eye surgery & I don't believe it took that long to heal or that it looked like that @ week 4.
I'd ask your Vet who did the surgery.
Hugs to your Boy.

it should be back to normal
you might as your vet for some medicine eye drops, he could have a small infection which causes inflammation in the tissue.
