Charlies rescue story

i have had a few rescues come into my life...i like the older boys and girls so many were not with me long but they crossed my heart....
but charlie came to me when he was 4 months...he has sb....i had never delt with sb before and thought how hard could it be....
OMG the smell is horrible...mostly becasue they cannot hold their bowels....so its a constant leaking of poop...every where....i sadly thougt the best thing would be to euth him...but as in so many cases...charlie became charlie....i put him on a raw diet...two weeks latter firm poop twice a day..... when we go to obedience class...yes he is training for rally and agiliety....i use a belly band...as he gets excited and dribbles a bit....
but he showed me some thing....so what if he poops a little to much if fed some thing wrong....oh well i have to mop the floor a couple of times more...
he loves me....he loves life....he is not angrey over his disability....it has not changed who he is....and i love him to death

wonderful story...

Bless your heart and I agree. I'd hope someone wouldn't end my life just because I messed my pants due to medical reasons. They (as dogs) can still enjoy life and give so much to us as their owners, even with medical issues. Your wonderful to do just that.

Makes me smile. . .

You are pretty much

'hooped' when you get a Bulldog in your life! they rule your heart from the very get-go! YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO TAKE HIM IN AND LOVE HIM.

Thank you for all you do for him on a daily basis. He is one lucky fellow to have YOU!

You have made my day, there are so many lessons to be learned from a dog.

I love your post...

I too have a bullie with SB, but Farleys is very minor. He is getting new x-rays on March 13 th see his progression but he has no serious issues, he too "over poops" if fed or eats the wrong thing found a great diet for him and learned the lesson that what goes in must come out and usually pretty close to when it goes in. LOL
