Since it is St. Patrick's Day, I thought I'd post a couple of pics from a trip we made a few years ago to Ireland which is such a gorgeous country. This is the outside of Blarney Castle. Sorry the pic scanned crooked.

And of course, I had to kiss the Blarney Stone. If I look terrified, it's because I'm at the top of the tower in the 1st photo and if I lose my grip & that guy doesn't hold on to me, it's straight down who knows how many feet!!! You have to bend backwards & down to reach the famous Blarney Stone. Years ago there were no hand rails to hold on to!

I would LOVE to go there one day - and I will. And you can bet I'll be kissing the Blarney Stone too! I knew you had to bend over to reach it but I didn't realize it was at the top of a tower... hmmm, guess I'll have to build up to it.
