It terrifies me to think that maybe they never grow out of the box shredding stage! Is this true?

na its just a rubber lump..it looks like its a chewed off piece
room is upstairs and the dogs are not allowed upstairs..... but i do think that they dug it up in the yard...whatever it was

Wow! That's huge. Must have been terribly painful to pass...
What the heck? Can't believe it didn't show up in the xrays. That's really weird.
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.
So glad it's out. Now you know he eats stuff, so you will have to watch him very closely because he will do it again.

Glad you decided to get xrays and the barrium test and that he is doing good.
Now that's a bit of "sick humor"... LOL
So odd that he found something like this to eat! I presume he's back to feeling good, too. Be sure to complete the antibiotics tho because he had this odd-thingy in his belly.
