Hopefully this post is allowed. I'm sorry if it isn't, but I thought it was important.

If any of you also use facebook do not accept a friend request from this person. He arrived out of the blue, and I assumed he was somebody from here and accepted the friend request. So did my daughtres. I went to the website link, and found nothing but a collection of old websites, and a fund raising request. He was defriended

Both of them had their accounts on FB and their emails hacked. One of them was trying to send something to her phone, and received a notice that it was going to Bob the bulldog. One of them tracked her email account and it told her she was logged in in two other places.

Uh oh....

I knew there was a Bob on here. That's why I accepted him as a friend. Obviously it wasn't you! Other bullies have their own pages on FB, so I didn't think it was weird until I looked at his site. I felt really annoyed that he used bullies to get to us!

It seems that if you have a bulldog in your picture....

all bulldog people request to be your friend. I have turned down numerous because I have NO IDEA who they are. I try to recognize names from here and if I don't I don't friend them. I also look at how many "friends" they have. If you have 500+ friends it just seems like they friend everyone. I cleaned out my friends a few weeks ago

Just control it however you would like. You can control a large part of your privacy, and keep it so that you don't get a majority of friend requests.

And no one is forcing you to accep them.

Jenn's sister's account actually sent me that Bob the Bulldog guy as a friend suggestion and I immediately ignored it because I didn't know him from adam. I'm only friend with people I communicate with regularly. (Sad to find out that that guy hacked into her account and DID that though...)

Just don't be afraid of it! It's an amazing and fun social networking tool.

I NEVER used it..never even looked at it even
I got well over 100 requests for friends and no idea who these people are
some are from the boston board maybe ..but not even sure how they found me on FB
I do not use the net for this purpose
only this board and the boston board and occasionally some email, although I do not always read my email either. I might research something on the net but that is about it.

It's a good idea not to add ANYONE you don't know
