We live in north Scottsdale near the TPC (where the open is held) and about a mile from Westworld. I will definitely get to some of these events! Thanks for the info.

Kathy, you must live on the north end of Phx

Right???

You really ought to try to make the specialties at the hotel, too. Wednesday after the judging, the club will have a complimentary buffet in the hospitality suite. So, even if you have to work, it would give you a chance to see, talk to and meet other Bulldoggers.

Then, Friday evening there will be another buffet, and a special show (non AKC) that the Phoenix club started a couple years ago. There is $500 cash prizes, and only champions and major pointed dogs can enter. They have three bulldog judges all go over the dogs at the same time, actually scoring them on a score sheet per the standard. Then it is totalled up and averaged for all dogs entered, and you then have the GRAND WINNER. It is always fun, and a little different.

Thanks Patti - we can walk to Westworld from our house!

We'll check it out!
