Gus shows me everyday what he can learn and do..
Deaf dogs make great pets with a bit of patience and a few hand signs
Gus is very friendly and very extroverted and all bulldog..so he is fun to work with. he is a beautiful additon to my household..

thought I might be able to teach Gus to read. gotta try that and see how it goes.. he might just be able to do that..

if people took the time to understand a deaf dog and learn to deal with it..there would not be soo many of them in rescue. I have saved 3 of them from rescue from helping the owners.. deafness is not something you can see..there is no way to tell a dog is deaf by looking at them.. like the vet said the dog deals with the deafness fine..it is the owner that has the issue more then the dog..

the meatballs are still on warm...letting the flavour go through in the slow cooker.
the choppers are better but they are starting to slip around lots...got a sore on my bottom jaw..going to go and see the denturist and get another change or grind or something...lol and see how it goes.

like you there are good days and bad days with my teeth too.

yard work would be very hard with a rough shoulder healing. there is always next year..good point and good way to look at it.. mine yard is huge here and tons of work..been out everyday since the weather is nicer actually.

yes the kids will be limited about their movement today too. The gate will be open, and the guy will be in and out of te house so they will be confined to their bedroom for a good part of the day. Gonna be 80 here to day and no fans. ugh!! I may have to stand over them and fan them. lol!! Its all good.

Sounds like the choppers are starting to work a little better for ya. I have good days and bad days with the shoulder. But its getting better. It's killin me that its spring and theres so much to do here that I know I can't and don't havve anyone to help me. Most folks are busy with their own things. Theres always next year. lol!!!
