8mth old behavior concerns

I have a wonderful male bulldog that has all the sudden (like a light switch) started sleeping a lot durring the day and neglecting eating his food as a priority like he used to. He climbs up on the couch and lays around like a teenager now. I have had 3 bulldogs and none have done this in their puppy days, they usually wait until they got a bit older.

He will eat, but ONLY late in the day/evening. He seems to be very picky about when he eats. (this worries me as he is crate trained and will pooh in there if he eats too late)

side note: He was neutered 2 months ago. Also He loves cat poop. We have some outdoor cats that come around and leave a hidden present that he will sometimes find (he has a great smeller)

I am just worried about this sudden change in behavior.

here he is with my daughter

My dogs went through that at that age

I thought they were growing and needed extra rest. I had a female that got very finicky about her food at that age, I think it lasted several months. I eventually changed food and she seemed to like the new brand better, so she started eating again. My dogs like cat poop too, it's really disgusting, but luckily there aren't that many cats around.

get his thyroid checked too

take in a stool sample..

cat poop can cause big worm issues in dogs
I would do that first off before anything else.

also on a side note
My male bulldog..not my female he stopped and settled down big time
during all his growth periods.
wander if your bully is in a big growth spurt

but definetly rule out the worms..

may have something to do with the cat poo

might have a bacterial infection from that

check for worms? N/M

he also doesn't play as much anymore

He would rarely turn down a good game of chase the ball or tug of war, but now he REALLY has to feel up to it
