A Part of Me....
A part of me died today
When I heard the news
That you quietly slipped away
A part of my soul I did lose
A part of me cried today
A long dreaded reality came true
That there would be the day
The I would not have you
A part of me sighed today
in the reality that you were gone
there would be no more games to play
or a hug in the morning dawn
A part of me survived today
My friend you were the best
to see you again I do pray
just to have you we were blessed
A part of me smiled today
remembering the time that we had
your gentle soul and amazing smile
makes my heart feel glad.
My heart felt proud today
Remembering all that you did
From bring joy to those in need
and giving reading support to a kid.
My heart wept with joy today
Your memory will always grow
I’ll meet you up in heaven someday
On the other side of the rainbow....

I will never forget this. This was truly written for our sweet PollyAnna. God broke the mold when he made her. I was lucky engough to gert to know her and love her and hurt so much when she left for the Bridge.
