I have a question for you all. Jet is many firsts for me, the first time we have gotten an adult dog and not a puppy, our first girl and our first to have previously had puppies. So I have a little question on her behavior as I don't know if it relates to any of the above. We go back for another appointment with the vet next week and I will bring it up but in the meantime I thought I'd ask here. Every night at bed, Jet will pee on her bed then try to lick it up and then lay down on her bed. What is she doing??? Gross!!! She has just been let out, I didn't know if she was trying to mark her spot, something to do with recently having puppies?? She only does it at night, she will sleep on her bed in her crate and not pee on it (that's I've seen or noticed). We are working a lot with her, she if finally starting to tell us when she needs to go out. Now to work on her jumping too, every time I sit down she jumps all over me, I try to ignore her but she hurts when shes jumping on my leg. I'm assuming its from lack of attention but she gets a ton of attention now and we need to work on her manners! Any suggestion for that part would be awesome too. I don't know how to get her to stop jumping besides standing up all night lol she won't jump if I'm standing haha. Any insight would bee appreciated. Thanks!

The peeing is definitey marking...
Our girl, who we adopted at age 5, will do that too. Especially if it's a fluffy pillow type bed. The only way to stop it is to take the bed away for a while. Jessa now sleeps on a flatish crate pad and she only does it once in a while. It took a while to house train her, she was used to being in a kennel and going whenever she felt like it. We used turkey burger as a yummy treat when she went outside and always used the phrase go pee, so now she does it on command and instead of peeing all the time, she goes two or three times a day outside. As for the jumping, I would enroll her in an obedience class or have a session with a trainer for starters. Give her a firm NO every time she jumps. Teach her to sit with good treats and then use that command when she tries to jump on you. If she has a crate, give her and yourself a timeout when she's being pushy.
Fluffy Pillow bed is....
exactly what she is peeing on! She has 1 downstairs, she doesn't pee on but the one in our room at bedtime she does. I am going to get another flat bed like the one in her crate and see how that works. Otherwise she is sleeping on the hardwood floor ..yuck! Your girl sounds a lot like Jet. Jet was in a kennel so she can hold herself for a long time but when she has to go there hasn't been much warning except for when she has to poop because she runs around before she goes. When she bothers me I take her out and she has been going to the bathroom more when we take her out, before she would just stand outside and sniff, now she is realizing I am taking her out for a purpose. We have only had her 3 weeks and she is 4 today, she's made a lot of progress in that time. I can handle a lot but the jumping drives me insane, I do put her in time out if I know I'm about to loose it. Recently i have been pushing her down then turning her away from me an making her sit, then once she is sitting and calm I will pet her. I think an obedience class will do some good as well. She has so much energy too, I'm not used to that. Tater would play for about 15 mins and then rest for 2 hours haha. Jet will go from the time I get home from work til bedtime. When i have been gone for the day, even if someone has been home with her she is glued to my side the rest of the night, which i don't mind until I sit down and she starts jumping all over me. Thanks for the advice! Today is Jet's birthday (supposedly!) she's a 12-12-12 baby, I was like hmmm is that real? eh who care we will take it!!! I'll bring her home a yummy treat and a new flat bed to try out for bedtime!
