Bosco and I are sending healing thought waves to your Sophia. We hope everything goes well at the doctor and we will be keeping her in our thoughts/prayers...

She did well during the surgery. My vet found 3 tumors that he removed and sent out for pathology. We should know in a day or two the results of that. He also removed a lot of gum tissue on the bottom of her mouth that had grown over some of her teeth. He removed an incisor that was very loose, and overall she had a good amount of work done. She came out of it very well, was ready and happy to be out and home that afternoon! Her intestinal issues are slowly resolving. There are some good bacteria in now but still bad bacteria also. We are working on getting that all the out of the picture.
She is really looking a lot better today. Much brighter and happier than she had been. I feel rotten that I didn't see the one tumor, though it was up in her mouth and I wouldn't have just seen it for looking without opening her mouth aand doing a good exam. I should have done that....
I appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayer for Sophia, it is much needed.

It sounds like she and Chester had a lot of the same things done. His mouth was a mess too and the only thing I could see was the space between his front gums that I was always trying to pull hair out of. His gum growth was benign and hopefully Sophia's will be also.
