We had to put down our beautiful Porkie this past Tuesday. We were blessed to have her with us for 13 years. Our hearts are broken but opened to love and care for another. We have decided to adopt and are looking for direction as to how to proceed. Due to new size restriction from the homeowner association we would like to adopt a Frenchie. We had purchased all 3 of our past bulldogs from breeders but I'm sure there is a Frenchie looking for a home. Since we never adopted before I'm hoping you can give us direction as to how to start. Thank you so much.

Happy!
I am happy you are opening your heart and home open up to another rescue. There is a rescue in Texas that is fabulous. They do out of state adoptions and the owner has a big heart for the Frenchies. Many of the Rescues all come from Puppy Mill auctions. They will go to the auctions and purchase these dogs. They hava a Facebook page Lone Star Dog Ranch and a website www.dogranchrescue.com. There is also the French Bulldog Network Rescue. www.frenchbulldogrescue.org.
So sorry to hear about Porkie...
That was a long and blessed life. Hope you find a frenchie, we are thinking of that in years to come too, they are smaller and easier to handle as we get older : )
I am so sorry
To hear about Porkchop. You and Your Family are in my Prayes. I am Happy to hear you are going to get another baby. I do wish you the Best with your New baby. Breaks my Heart to think of all the old Bulldogs are leaving us. Loulou is 9 years now and right. This is something I fear.

I'm so sorry about Porkchop...
I know how much you will miss her. What a lovely plan to rescue though! I also have heard about the rescue in Dallas, and I hope and pray they will have a little one for you. I live near Dallas, if there is anything I can help with please let me know!
