Interesting. My dogs seem to have the "get me a cookie" gaze...
Down pat!! But I do have a couple who look intently into my eyes and at my face...it is a little creepy to be honest, as if they are looking farther than I want them to. Past the average interaction for a deeper one. Those two dogs...they are my constant companions outside, they would protect me with their lives I believe.
Then there's Sophie...she can stare holes through me until I set her food dish down:-)

because it reminds me of when he was just a PUPPY! He doesn't ALWAYS do it, but when he does, OMG---heart. melts. !!!
It's that sweet look, but also when his eyes are that gorgeous solid black---no whites showing----SWEET!!! Sophie
does it, too, but more often--and my heart melts with her, too----but I guess since Meaty is more stand-off-ish and doesn't
do it as often, I just LOVE it when he does!!! I KNOW my
levels of oxytocin go WAY up...but also my other HAPPY / "I feel like your actual MOMMY sometimes" hormones! :-)
