Hi BDW - Bosco went to see his surgeon today and he tore his left hind CCL and needs his luxating left patella fixed. We operated on his right side a few years ago so I know what to expect but bosco is older now so extra prayers always help!
Hi everyone - bosco must have been feeling your good thoughts and prayers because he did really well today. His surgeon preformed a TPLO and did a second procedure to fix his luxating patella. He is overnighting at the 24 hour emergency hospital, which is collocated with the surgical department. I'll pick him up tomorrow afternoon and then the fun begins because he will be on crate rest and he won't like that. At least he won't be in the cone of shame, he can't reach around to lick his incision and his doctor doesn't want him in it because of Bosco's ear infection. Will keep everyone updated...thanks agsin!
Sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers...
Bosco's way. Please keep us updated.
Aww~!! Many prayers and (( hugs )) for
sweet Bosco andd you! It's always a bit ( or A LOT) scary when our babies have to have anything done!
Also prayers for a good/ easy recovery!!! I assume he'll have to be on crate rest for quite a while? THAT
would be verrry difficult for our babies---I hope adora-bull Bosco is okay with it!
Our sweet Archimedes "MEATY" Bones (or as we say...boneSHHH!) ---born 11/28/08---- our first bullllyyyy!!!
