Hi everyone - I hope someone here can help. Bosco is four years old and neutered. So for the longest time, every once in awhile Bosco would grab my leg and mount it, I would tell him 'no' sharply and he would stop. Within the last month, month and a half, however, his every once in awhile grabbing has become a nightly problem. He grabs my leg and mounts it multiple times a night. The 'no' is not working so much anymore. He has even started doing it to my husband, he never did that before, and to his dog walker. Any thoughts? Anything I can do to make this stop, to un-train him? Nothing has changed in his diet or environment. He has just started mounting regularly and it has got to stop. Thank you in advance.
I have found that...
a soda can with pennies inside and tape over the opening works wonders at stopping bad behavior. A couple of good shakes and Chester heads for the hills. You could also try a squirt bottle and give him a squirt when he starts this along with a firm no.
I have also heard that but
I have also heard that but never tried it myself.
Money can buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail.
