Monty relaxing.....

My foster boy Monty is doing great, his skin is really clearning up. He still gets his medicated baths, ointment & medicated mousse. We've increased the dosage of the staph lysate shot but now every 2 weeks. The shots tend to give him loose poop :(

He's a really good boy, just enjoys his beds or our couch, a few walks in nice weather. Walking is still a challenge sometimes because he just plants himself and won't move so I'm always armed with treats. The neighbors think it's very funny. Me not so much!

He likes to "plank" in his bed.

He really is a sweet, good boy. He loves being near us & people. I can't imagine how stressed & sad he must have been being confined to a basement. I'm still in touch with his previous owners (I only met the husband when I picked up Monty), I deal with the wife. She is very nice & she's thrilled that he looks so good. It's hard being in rescue not to judge people. I guess she just got ovewhelmed with the 2 children, work...etc. The important thing is he's happy now. He'll be 9 in August, she said she was going to look for his pupppy pictures, I hope she sends them. I'll bet he was cute (before his head lost all that muscle mass).
