Dear friends,
April the 18th I had to put my beloved girl to sleep.
It was the hardest thing I've ever done, it was also the kindest.
There is no way I could ever replace my sweet baby. She'll always reside in my heart.
I am going to find me another bulldog to love, and to love me.
I would much appreciate any thoughts about the difference between males and females.
Thanks in advance,
Carol
My deepest condolences my dear friend.
I am so terribly sad for you, my heart goes out to you. I know how much you and Kofi loved each other, you will surely be carried through the grief by the many, many lovely memories you made with her. I know you are going to be loving another little bullie again someday, many prayers for that to happen sooner than later:-)

Carol, I'm so sorry to hear this...
It's devastating to have to make that decision, but you are right, it is the last loving thing we can do for them. We had to let Oliver go a few months ago at 12 but he was suffering at the end. We have always had boys and I love them, but then we adopted Jessa at 5 years of age, and she is the most loving, cuddly girl, I think they both have their good points.
I'm sorry to here about the loss of your sweet Kofi...
Letting them go is one of the hardest yet one of the most unselfish things we can do for our furbabies. Our first female bulldog had quite the attitude. Our male now is just a big lug of a happy boy. I decided then it would be only males from now on, until our neighbors knocked on our door wanting to give us their female bulldog. I was quite hesitant, but she is the sweetest, mellowest, love bug. I would not trade her for anything. When it comes to when you are ready. Keep an open mind and you will know when the right one comes along whether male or female.
Oh gosh, I am so sorry
What a heartbreak. Kofi is a lucky girl, she got to live her life with someone that loved her all the way.
Male vs. female? The one you fall in love with, works best.
Again, sorry about Kofi and good luck in your search.

Thanks to all of you
Kofi and I would not have had the fun we had were it not for this board.
She was a handful! You all saved us!
It was wonderful!
Thanks so very much,
Carol

Carol.......................
You know we share your sorrow and your loss. We have had a lot of hours and messages here. We are all best-never-met-each-other old friends.Your sweet baby was such an important family member. When you were together, life's song was sung on a high note. It was simply the best. Our condolences and prayers for comfort and peace. When you're ready, go find a bully that needs a home, maybe at a shelter or maybe even an owner surrender. They make wonderful companions, as you know, because they're so glad to be rescued. And they mean so much more to you, because they are. Please update us when you do. Don't, by any means, leave us.
