joint supplement

I have 2 bullies. One is 7 years old and the other one, Bonnie is 4 years old. Bonnie has 2 bad knees Dr. B said. She was 62 lbs and Dr. B said to "lose some weight." She has lost approx. 4 lbs now. I need a good joint supplement to put her on. Thank you for any suggestions. I have read the forum everyday for many years.

I have used it for several years. They also have a Liquid Health 5000 for more severe cases. My dogs used to go to Dr. B, I just got tired of the drive.

I live in the high desert and drive 65 miles to Dr. B when I need him. I have not found any other vet. that I would take the Bullies to up here. Thank you for the name of the meds. that you use.

I order it from Amazon (found the best prices there). I have used it for years and my dogs love it. It is a chewable tablet form. I gave two daily for the first 4-6 weeks and then one daily from then on. My female bulldog, Izzy, entered my life when she was 10 mos. old and I could feel her hips moving and popping. I started her on this right away and when she saw our vet 6 mos. later he liked how her hips felt. I don't even feel any movement or popping in them at all.

I don't know if this correlates to using Cosequin or not, but when I had Sophia and Millie on it (Millie is an ancient German Sherpard, Sophie is my bully babe), they both had night time poop accidents in the house all the time. I took them off it, put them on Missing a link, and that has completely stopped. I like the Missing Link, it is more than just for joints and my dogs all look very good on it. One teaspoon daily...

Thanks Amy for the "Missing Link" information. Does M.L. do the same as Cosequin as far as Helping their joints and knees especially?

I like it, my dogs seem to do pretty well on it. It took about 2 weeks to see a difference.
