I would not think it is a food related allergy but more likely

A sting or bite of some sort. I would give 2 Benaryl 2x a day and see if you can get that swelling down. Watch his breathing carefully, his airway could close up with facial swelling if it gets down into his neck.

LOL! Ok, I thought the Wink pic was swelling!!!

Sorry!! Sheesh, I need sleep!!!

No, that might be a hot spot starting up. A little gold listerine (the original, old fashioned kind) might clear that up. Others will know better than me, and there is also a recent post on the medical forum I think about hot spot treatment.

Good luck:-)

That's what dozer gets when he has an allergic tearoom to the food he eats... He's been on the prescription food, but when he eta harleys he breaks out really bad,, I have to separate them into different rooms now when feed him ;(, I have medicated Iowa for when that happens, good luck

I use

Animax from Vet,or I also use Vet's best hotspot spray / with tea tree oil...got that at Petco fairly cheap

Brother got a spot on his front leg, round and swelled...a Misquito bite maybe, but it swelled and all the hair came off but it dried right up with one application of animax, Don't touch the tip of tube to wound cause of germs.

His collar pulled his hair and made a place and I used it there too.

Vet's Best is really good.

So is Calm Coat. That stuff worked wonders on my German Shep girl. Either one can be purchased at Petsmart I believe. Calm Coat may need to be purchased at a feed store if you have one near you.

Looks like his two front legs

Looks like his two front legs must have come into contact with something that caused that reaction. I would just wash them well with an antibacterial cleanser and wait to see if it gets any worse.
