Well, good evening, Doggers! Once again, the weekend is upon us and I'm here to lighten the way into it. Here are this week's questions to ponder.
Tell us an unknown fact about you!
What is/was your mom's middle name?
Who was the last guest/visitor to your house?
Where do you keep your toothbrush?
Do you have/use a bathrobe?
When will you get tired of taking these surveys?
Can you juggle anything?
Do you belong to a gym?
What do you do on a regular basis?
What did your parents not approve of?
What was the longest you were ever grounded for? Why?
And what was the worst thing you ever did that your parents never found out about?
Did you ever have a party in your parents' house while they were away?
POOF! You're 14 years old again. What will you do now?
At what age did you realize that you were now an adult?
The best three bulldog names I ever heard are ________________
And that should keep you busy for a few minutes. Please have a nice two days. And for me; well, where's my rum?
Answers

~A rarely known fact about me -- I played classical piano for 12yrs.
What is/was your mom's middle name?
~Lou
Who was the last guest/visitor to your house?
~Our bosses' daughter, and friend, Tash
Where do you keep your toothbrush?
~In a decorative tumbler next to the bathroom sink.
Do you have/use a bathrobe?
~Don't own one but will use them in hotels that provide them :)
When will you get tired of taking these surveys?
~I just started taking them so sometime in the future.
Can you juggle anything?
~Only pet food bowls.
Do you belong to a gym?
~What is that? LOL
What do you do on a regular basis?
~Enjoy adult coloring books and meditation.
What did your parents not approve of?
~My first husband.
What was the longest you were ever grounded for? Why?
~Two weeks. It was for lying. The old "I'm spending the night with Terri" and of course she lied about the same thing,
saying she was spending the night at my house so we could stay out partying with some boys we had met. LOL
And what was the worst thing you ever did that your parents never found out about?
~I don't think there was ever anything they didn't find out about. They were both my best friends.
Did you ever have a party in your parents' house while they were away?
~No.
POOF! You're 14 years old again. What will you do now?
~The same thing I was doing then, counting the days until I could blast out of the one horse town I was raised in :)
At what age did you realize that you were now an adult?
~Seventeen. Graduated a year early, got a job in Dallas and stamy first apartment. Realized that paying bills was for adults!
The best three bulldog names I ever heard are Amelia, Winston and Booger.
Do you still live in the Dallas area?
I'm west of Dallas about an hour and a half.....
Amy and Sophia
No, we don't.
We retired early, and hit the open road in an RV for the past 5yrs until we found this place in Colorado that we love :)
That's right, I read your posts!
But forgot:-)
Amy and Sophia
I love LOVE LOVE the piano, and have
"sworn" I will teach myself and/or take lessons for.ev.er , but I still haven't !!! Do you
still play at all? I just think the piano is the most awesome instrument !!!!!!!! I played
flute in junior and high school, so I'm happy that I already know how to read music; howeverrrr....
PIANO music is, as you know----VERY different! It blows my mind that anyone is able to read
BOTH parts, not to mention, know what to do with both hands!!! I KNOW I can learn it, I just
need to DO it and stop TALKING about it !!! :-) ....
....
....
Coloring is fun, isn't it? My friends and I used to scrapbook ALL THE TIME, and now, sometimes,
we get together and color instead. I've encouraged many people to try it as a very soothing, fun
stress reliever and/or just for funzies! :-) I have a dear friend who is SOOO stressed out all
the time, and I gave her a coloring book this weekend---I hope she tries it and likes it! :-)
Soooo-----About your adult coloring books----do you have the one with the cuss words? LOL! I don't have it,
I've just seen it on Amazon. It cracks
my friends and I up that the words are surrounded by such lovely designs, you hardly notice!
I read a story of a lady who brought her "naughty words" coloring book to her parents' - in- law's
house during a long visit so she could "relieve the stress they cause me" by coloring in the evenings after
being around them every day! .....LOL!
Our sweet Archimedes "MEATY" Bones (or as we say...boneSHHH!) ---born 11/28/08---- our first bullllyyyy!!!
And SOPHIE Bubbles *Rapscallion* (LOL!) ---born 4/3/11----our second bulllllyyyy!!!!
My turn to answer!!
Tell us an unknown fact about you! Um, I think I've told everyone here pretty much everything about me! Ok, let's see, I am a terrible house keeper, but I keep my horse barn immaculate:-)
What is/was your mom's middle name? Jean
Who was the last guest/visitor to your house? My sister in law.
Where do you keep your toothbrush? In the toothbrush holder, silly! Unless I forget and leave it on the bath room counter:-)
Do you have/use a bathrobe? I have one of those super fluffy, really soft robes. I wear it all the time in the winter, I hate being cold.
When will you get tired of taking these surveys? Neber eber!!! Keep em coming!!
Can you juggle anything? Mostly money and time:-) Other than that, I can't juggle anything!
Do you belong to a gym? I work my cattle and horse ranch all day outside. My ranch is my gym!!!
What do you do on a regular basis? Chores!! 2.5 hours twice a day, every day. I also have lunch fairly regularly with my daughter on Mondays.
What did your parents not approve of? Me, mostly. I don't know of much that wasn't a problem.
What was the longest you were ever grounded for? Why? I didn't ever get grounded. I should have been grounded for life, several times, but wasn't.
And what was the worst thing you ever did that your parents never found out about? They knew about pretty much everything I did. I snuck out for a moonlight horseback ride one night around midnight. I got home and was hanging up the bridle in our carport when my dad opened the door. I thought I was in huge trouble, but he just said to invite him the next time. I was shocked!
Did you ever have a party in your parents' house while they were away? No! My parents had no problem with parties at our house, having one when they were away would have been nothing. They were divorced, neither one cared if we had parties.
POOF! You're 14 years old again. What will you do now? Everything different.
At what age did you realize that you were now an adult? Wait, what?? How old do I have to be to be an adult? I don't think I'm there yet, and I'm over the halfway mark.
The best three bulldog names I ever heard are ________________. Sophia, Izabella, and Squidward!! Can I add Plankton?! Remember them?? I laughed every time I read those great names!
Thanks Unca Bill!!! Lots of great questions!!
Amy and Sophia
OMG, Amy!!!! I LOVE the story about
your Dad NOT being mad, just saying to invite him next time !!!! Awesome!!! :-)
Talk about shocking, eh? :-
Squidward and Plankton.....OMG!!! Sooo fun! :-)
Our sweet Archimedes "MEATY" Bones (or as we say...boneSHHH!) ---born 11/28/08---- our first bullllyyyy!!!

Amy and Sophia
I was named after my grandma, too (middle name, too) but...
My middle name is Peggy.
Sadly no .. I haven't played in years
Had a wonderful, encouraging teacher growing up and after she retired someone I managed to find the biggest battleaxe in town that really killed my interest. By the time I thought about how relaxing it would be to purchase another piano and take it back -- Life happens, jobs, marriages, etc. I will still run my fingers across the keys of a random one when I see it :)
I love the idea of the naughty words coloring book at the inlaws! LOLOL
Ugh...that is too bad about the mean teacher!!! As
kids, they can realllllly influence us!!!
Oh, and the term "Battleaxe".....LOL! :) I haven't heard that in quite a while!!!
