I'm having a bit of an issue with mine we did the Iams puppy as he grew then switched to homemade I stopped doing that and went to freshpet. He loved it and now all of a sudden won't eat much. I don't think anything is wrong with him because he's acting normal but is a VERY emotional dog....meaning when I went away for the week he was sooooo upset I had a baby 7 months ago and is still having trouble with the baby getting a little of my attention. We sometimes put in people food like steak fat bacon etc but not always. He'll eat everything else but hardly touches his freshpet (which he use to LOVE). Thanks for any suggestions
These guys can be stubborn.
I was feeding Natures Variety Raw, but it became so expensive. I now feed Natures Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient Lamb. It is a grain free low protein food. Both of my bullies have no tear stains and good poops. Your guy may be just tired of his food and maybe wants a change. Lots of grain free foods and pre packaged raw out there you could try.

Loulou has to eat
food from her vet. She just had Kindey stones remove. My Bubba does great on Grain free Nautral Balance. He is very funny on what he will eat. I would not feed them bacon grease or Red Meat at all. I did this with mine and Loulou got Bloat years ago from it. Cause to much gas on her system. I then cut all that out. But we will try to get them to eat.
